Intent on leaving the competition in the shade, Maggie has been hard at it redecorating. It's certainly looking good.

Such fun Lynda......I used to love her 40's night.....A good old wartime sing-a-long (not that I remember the war)

A good old war time singalong! I don't remember it either but what about the German family out of Achararvi for the night that were sitting near you, did they have fun? Will they return home and tell their friends what a great place Roda is? If this site is to promote the village for all nationalities it should continue to give accurate (unbiased) information and not become a 'chat room' for a small group of people that others are allowed to look at.

smg.......where you at Maggie's when we had a sing-a-long?........If not......no case to answer.
You seem to be trying to make it something it was not!!!!!

Steve, the forum is open to people of all nationalities who wish to make contributions to Roda or ask questions. In particular, we welcome the creation of new threads as this is what stimulates opinion. Website rules allow forum postings only in English but that seems not to be a problem for people such as Petra & Julienne and we would dearly like to have more contributors from other countries.
The singalong that is referred to was very popular as I remember, and was advertised openly in advance. I would guess that anyone who might be offended by such an event, would give it wide berth.
As you know, we all see things differently based on our experiences and opinions are bound to vary. Some postings, therefore, may seem by others to be biased but we do consider such issues before committing ourselves. Anything considered to be seriously offensive will be removed.
If you want to break the 'chat room' cycle, then we would be pleased to discuss any subject that you care to introduce.
Steve
