It seems that everyone overlooks this taverna, but I have been coming to Roda for 10 years or more and I would not eat anywhere else except Maria's (ok I am biased they are our friends) But her food is fantastic, you may have to wait a while for it and all the locals frequent her establishment, but they will give you more than a friendly welcome. PLEASE TRY IT.

Hi Steve
Maria's is a lovely little restaurant along the main road, if you walking up from the sea then it is passed the Afroditi, inbetween Odyseus and the photographic shop.
We keep meaning to go to try out her food but somehow we have never made it. We know that friends, "davenlinda" go there and always enjoy their meal.
She cooks traditional dishes. I am sure that you would enjoy a meal there one evening.

Steve,Thanks for nothing(only joking old man)Maria's is our secret place where we have been going for 14yrs.As Elane says you may have to wait a while the secret is to walk past & see how many are in .her granddaughter another Maria is a very friendly young lady¬hing is a bother .the local builders always say hello & when she is busy little Maria as I call her is always very apologetic for you waiting .

No secret now, Dave - it's on the world wide web! ;D I thought that the object of this website was to SHARE information, not keep secrets. Steve
