The shortcut through Paradise isn't a lot shorter but it does cut out the walk along the main road a bit. pete.

Thanks for the info guys,i am only 41 but have arthritis and recurring dislocation of both knees so walking can sometimes be a bit of a problem, depending on road surfaces etc. so any shortcut to lessen the distance to the village is a blessing.

Hi gail the short cut through paradise would mean walking on small chucky stones which I thought would be harder than the side of the road!!!! plus if you get to the gate and its locked you would have to walk all the way back!!! The thing to remember is your on holiday so its a stroll not a rush to walk from A -2- B. be sure to have a great time!!!!!!!!!! love lynda

Hi Gail, Robert, Linda & Dave Many thanks you have a nice flight too. See you all soon (maybe tomorrow!!!!). Don't worry about the wine - I am a beer man! The wife will give the wine a good go though! Sister in law and daughter may also have a tipple or two! Look out for the little baldy man with an ugly crew. Ron, Fiona, Lynda, Barry, Katrina & Ben

Back now - weather was great - sunny all day - bit chilly at night. Stayed at Roda Oasis - nice place, lovely people - would recommend it. Saw Gail & Robert - they were great too! Gail has an excellent singing voice - though she denies it! Roll on next year.

Got back this morning....had a great time, as always, although a little bit quiet for me this time of year.
Rained 1st two days, then glorious for the rest of the fortnight, have got a pretty good tan. Cool at night....needed a jacket.
A lot of places sadly were closed, and we didn't get to try a 'lamb OPA'.
Great meeting Julie and Steve at last. Saw quite a lot of them around and about. (working very hard for the Roda website). Also nice to meet Ian (northboy), Gail and Rob & Dave and Linda.
Will add more when I've caught up on all the postings.
Jean

Thanks Jackie...... We were gutted when we went to Makis' on our first morning and found he was closed (due to XL). Chatted to him for a short while, he showed us his booking sheet and we were allocated room number 5........our perfect spot!!!! He seemed really sad, I bet he must have lost a lot of income having to close early. Told us he was staying with Libra (Allbury) as he said it wasn't their fault....(true)
As promised, I gave him a kiss from you x.
