I must look for this Red on White 'Loft' sign - I'm not sure that I've ever seen it.
Anyway, it's wrong! ;D ;D

You will have to "zoom" in Steve, that's what I did.... otherwise you almost cannot see it. That's why I posted a big photo instead of a small one. But I did show this picture on the forum before , maybe smaller (I think....)

And I knew already I was wrong , because in the meantime I read something about a Mackerel..... so it must be a restaurant........ or a boat......

Jean, where have you been? That's the first guess for a while - what a shame it's wrong! I think the Odysseus sign is in green.

Not Nancy Nikki Nor Nafsika (her real name)
Just to push this forward a little, there is a link between this riddle and the question raised in 'Warm Roda'. Guess one, and you are on the way to the other.

Opa's a curly red 'O' on a green background - or is the other way around? Either way, Dave, you're wrong! ;D ;D

This is a bit of a long shot, but is it the Boats For Hire sign near the corner by Valentino's Apartments!

Hi Harry - obviously your four years in Roda have been well spent ;D - you have out-riddled the 'old-hands' and, for the first time, guessed two riddles in one. It is, of course, The D olphin and the apartments are Nikki's, the ones that every visitor to Roda walks in front of almost every day of their visit - and what a shady corner it is too!! Sorry jools - you were only next door!
