Hi kernowman - when we spoke to Eleni in November she did say she would be away from time to time throughout the winter. Having said that, she also said she would be back doing work on the apartments. We will try to find out through someone else in the village and, in any case, we will be back in Roda on 30th January when we can check it out for ourselves. Bear with us, we'll do what we can and post something on the forum later.

Information needed but I'm sure somebody could tell me. Due to the demise of XL airlines used by Olympic holidays, we have had to hastily arrange a holiday with another tour operator. We are going with Thompson and we are staying at the Aphrodite. As this hotel is run on a B+B basis, are there any facilities in the rooms for doing your own thing e.g drink making, fridge for milk etc.? JackieM

We don't think there is much in the rooms Jackie - perhaps other visitors can advise you better. If nobody answers soon - ask again and we will contact people directly.

Jackie, stayed at the aphrodite last year, no facilities for making tea etc unless you take your own kettle etc, rooms ok, we had maids in nearly every day, even had a bath albeit very small one!, breakfasts not bad although you do get the same every day, ham, cheese etc unless you pay extra julie x
