Well we did it! www.rodaonline.org does what it says on the tin! We are are a bit 'punchy', & very tired, but totally focused on Roda's new village website. As you will see, there is a lot of work still to do, but that's OK because there always will be. In particular, we must get rid of that shocking pink on the drop-down menus! ;D Apart from the more obvious 'glitches', the next thing to emerge on the site will be the 'Roda Travel - By Air' page and we will then start to work on 'Roda Pages' - a directory of Roda's businesses. By next year, we will have listed all of Roda's businesses, whether they have paid for webpages, or links, or not. Obviously, those with pages or links will benefit more from people visiting the site but we feel that is important to include everybody. So, on with the show - welcome aboard Julie & Steve

I really like this fresh look and agree about the pink - just a bit too bright. Have fun and keep up the good work.

Guess what? - the shocking pink has gone and you can now read the drop-down menus in orange.
Also, you will now find that:
Roda Gallery now opens in a seperate window .. other changes coming soon
Roda Essentials - 'Roda Speak' - the words now line up,
Most photos will now enlarge
You can now see how many people are currently online
More changes soon ...

Hi siversufer
Glad to hear from you again - have missed you this year, maybe in 2009. Still no Indian Restaurant in Roda, but lots of other good food ;D

Steve
Whilst in Roda back in June, some mention was made of an Olive Press, it was mentioned that there was one somewhere near to the school on the edge of the Sfakera and another near to the cafe in the centre of the village, perhaps you know the locations of these and sometime could give directions - maybe next time in Roda it could be another walk.
If your passing the Aphrodite say hello to Bob and Kath
The web site looks good, well done.

Thanks for the support Bill - we will ask Kostas at Roda Park about the olive press as he lives just along that road.

I believe there is an olive press in Platonas (just beyond Sfakera). On the left hand side, not too far into the village.
