Work has begun to redo the beach volleyball court playing area, large pile of stones for drainage and even larger pile of sand to go on top.
All hands to pump at Crusoes, many hands busy cleaning the furniture as the race is on for them to open like everyone else by the 2nd May. Several are opening this week, Jonathan says Boathouse may open Thursday, hope so it perfect place to sit on these pleasant sunny afternoons watching any boats go bye or fishing.
NSK opposite Pirates was open today getting ready for the season and the tourist excursions. The nearby ATM has also been opened.

The last week has been very busy all round the village and the clean up of the beach opposite Afodite also took place. Friday saw Afrodite open and it has been joined by Skouna and Drunken Sailor. I believe Boathouse is open and the rest are due to follow tomorrow, today being a Bank Holiday with the Roda Festival tonight.
Crusoes were frantically working away Friday to be ready for opening, many hands make light work seems to be their motto.

Any idea if Alex has invested in some new furniture for the New Crusoes, or have the basket chairs followed along the road from the old bar ?

Both, is the answer to your question, coltoon. We were pleased that Alex does have a lot of new seating but, sadly, the old wicker chairs are there too!
