Hi. We will be visiting Roda in June for the first time and was wondering if you can get in the sea without beach shoes as some places we have been have lots of shingle or very rocky and can be hard on the feet. Thanks in advance.

There is without doubt no shingle a bit seaweed that's all - Roda Beach is - tell you what wait and see - love at first sight

Some people wear beach shoes on sandy beaches, so much depends on your philosophy. I wouldn’t use them in Roda, but some seem to do so regardless.

The only issue I've ever had on Roda beach was the fact that the sand was too hot to walk on, so it was a case of run to the sea lol (P.S. I feel I must warn you in advance that Roda is highly addictive ) x
