Who owned that the summer before last? We went on recommendation and to be honest it didnt feature in our top ten places to eat sadly.

The owner now is probably the young girl in the photo. She is the main admissions nurse at the hospital in Corfu Town and she sub-let the restaurant last year to concentrate on her job. May be time to give them another chance.

The running of the restaurant changed hands again last year & received much better reviews than the year before, it's now called "The Old House", great food and great service last year. pete.

We first went to Roda in 1976, Mary used to cook on one ring in the kitchen. It was only in 1978 that an English couple who felt sorry for her shipped a cooker out and the wait for food was reduced! Niko used to have a big roll of drachmas in his pocket, when you went to him at the end of the night to say what you'd had to eat and drink he remembered everything, those were the best times.
