Guest - when we book a taxi WE tell them what time WE require them - allowing sufficient time to travel from Roda to airport for check-in time (always allowing a little extra time for possible traffic). It has never resulted in us being there 3 hours before check-in time. I cant comment on Corfu airport transfers - never used them.

We have always done the Thomas Cook transfer from the airport to Roda but 3 years ago it took 3 hours via every resort in North Corfu and we passed the apartments 3 times before we finally got off the coach!! Never again, last year we paid 55 euros for a taxi from the airport(pre booked)but when i seen NSK offering same transfer for 30 euros we decided to give it a go.

Well we have to be in the minority but Paula and myself loved the coach transfer last year. To Roda we went by Sidari and had a good look at it as tourists embarked. However on the way back we went the other way and saw some truly beautiful scenery and many resorts. You see I drive 49 weeks a year and not having a busman's holiday by hiring a car ha. So RODA(Resort Only Distance Away) travel by coach simply class as long as Paula gets 4 bottles of water while I get the bags ha.

The last time we had a tour operator provide a transfer for us (many years ago) we went via Paliokastritsa! after that we picked up a car at the airport for a few years. Now we book direct with The Pegasus they provide a taxi transfer as part of their price.

Well what people are saying is they book flights accommodation and transfers separately. We don't - got 3 weeks this year off Thomas Cook at Afrodite in August - we booked in August last year for a bargain. So each to their own -we were offered what lots of you do but we like to have the package holiday. So free insurance free food pick your seats and transport to resort seems to me the way to do it haha.

Landed very late evening & went to Roda via Paleo (we were already 2 hours delayed on the flight). Got to the resort, bus stopped around HN travel (non English speaking coach driver just kept saying 'Rep will get us here.') Sat for half an hour - if he'd been able to speak English, we'd have been off the coach, got our cases & we'd have walked to Makis from there. Eventually discovered that the rep was waiting for us at the crossroads - bus driver thought we were at the crossroads. So we had to about turn & head back to meet the rep & eventually get the apartment. Other people on the coach, going to Sidari - Felt so sorry for them. Since that we've came by taxi!

We booked our holiday so late this year that we missed the cheap flights - so ended up booking a "package holiday" for the first time in years as it worked out cheaper. We passed on the "free" transfers (£16 per person) and the "book your own seats" (£6 per person per flight) and as for the airline food - even if they paid me, I wouldn't eat it. Like Jacks, I would rather pay for the taxi and be in Roda long before any coach transfer would get me there. Good job we all have the choice to do what suits us best.

I think this has been said before, Dave, but cheap night flights mean that many visitors arrive in Corfu in the early hours of the morning and the last thing they want is a long trip around the island. If you land at, say, 2am, and have a taxi waiting, then you can still get the best part of a good night’s sleep. This leaves you in good shape for a full first day in Roda. If you arrive at 2am and are then faced with a 3 hour transfer, or worse, do you actually go to bed at all? The problem is that by lunchtime you start flagging, have a ‘quick nap’ that lasts far too long and your whole holiday gets off to a shaky start.

We'll said lads- yes those late arrivals and the need to get there quickly does make sense .PS.We only mentioned at first how Paulas parents had thought how cheap it was in comparison to when they went -guess what they still think it is - been some good debate hasn't there ha.

Hello to everyboby ! how are you ? about NSK airport tranfers, the prices are changed on our site. Really I am very sorry that I forgot to change them also in my advertise here, I will do it straight now. But for the customers who have already book transfers from the airport to Roda they will pay the price that we have already agree with. thanks in advance and a big sorry for my mistake, Pegy
