Talking to Paula's mam and dad who visited Roda for 23 years they said when they got a transfer to the resort it was 40 euros -when we said its cheaper now she said That's a very good price and cheap.

A taxi will cost you about 55/57 euros this year - IF you use one of the Roda taxis - IF you use one of the airport taxis it will be much more. Pegy is stating "not less than 50" - the lower prices are for Dassia etc. pete.

I’m confused Pete .... I would think that Roda Taxis - Yannis - will be €55, whilst Alfa Taxis will be €57. Pegy advertises ‘from’ €48, but is that for four people sharing a minibus with someone else? If there is no one to share with, what would the price be then? I agree with Richard about Corfu Airport Transfers - so many bad reports and such a lot to go wrong. Unfortunately, we continue to expect transfer companies to perform miracles and we insist on ever lower prices ... it can’t possibly continue. I’m afraid that we have to be prepared to pay more to get a reliable service, and that’s why our taxi companies are very busy. I’m passing on lots of enquiries currently, so best book early.

I'd rather book a taxi than a transer, I think. At least when you arrive & the taxi is sitting there waiting for you, you're off quickly. No sitting around waiting for others - possibly coming in in the next flight, etc. Mine is all booked, anyway!

Taxi every time for us too - they are waiting for you - bags loaded - in Roda within 40 minutes (or quicker sometimes). Ours is already booked too.

Yay! What time you due to arrive, Kath? Can't believe it's only 11 weeks/76 days!

It was your Kelly that had it in days - I was only at weeks, but she was on about 78 days on Facebook! lol So blame her! We're not in till the evening. Hopefully into the resort around 8.30pm. Not sure if we'll be out & about that evening - we'll see!

Jacks - it would be rude not to have a few swift ones - for medicinal reasons of course!

Totally, Kath! Just not sure if we'll just have a few at Makis or whether we'll be out in the village.
