Why does this stop sign have a significant story during our 1st holiday together in Roda?

You walked into it after one too many ouzos!
And you have to come back each year to chase up on your claim for damages

I was following my beautiful partner and at that time the pavement outside the butchers where the sign is had worn away. Watching my step and head down I followed Paula through the gap -I just didn't see it and wallop my head hit the sign.It hurt ha Paula just stopped didn't turn round just shouted What's happened I daresnt look. I was lucky I just missed the bolt at the back could have been worse.Typical man though I blamed her for going through the gap but she is smaller than me and it was nowhere near her. Contrary to any rumours I hadnt had a drink yet soon made up for it ha. The pavement when I went last year has been repaired and the stop sign well its made of sturdy stuff there wasnt a mark on it ha.
