reminiscing with a friend on the 'phone about the many happy times we all had in Corfu from the late 70's - two of us living there, two visiting twice a year, until we left and ill-health stopped their visits. One question arose - how could four intelligent, middle aged seemingly normal people do a tour of every bar in Roda (ending up at Walkie Talkie) with a large blow-up model of Mr. Blobby? He ended up with a few plasters covering his rear end (burns suffered in the tour of duty) and we ended up in a stupor, falling into a ditch on leaving Walkie Talkie. Also did a tour of Acharavi two nights later, and then Mr. Blobby departed with his friends to London and was immediately booked into a drying out clinic, never to return to Corfu again. I won't go into detail of other stuff we got up to, but suffice to say I'm surprised we are still allowed into the country. So - a warning - don't get hooked on Roda, you'll never know what you'll end up doing....................................
