As Kath says linda & I walk that way sometimes 2-3 times a day,Linda had a stroke 7 yrs ago & I have heart problems & sciatica if you take your time & don't try to run up it is a pleasant walk & we are both pensioners although we look a lot younger.Blue Gdns is a lovely complex & Eleanor & her family will make anyone more than welcome.the walk up to Blue Gardens takes about ten minutes,we then have a further walk of ten minutes to our place.Dave

Cruiser do let me know how you got on tackling the incline/hill/mountain (depending on your viewpoint!) Need to know if I should sign up for body pump classes or the equivalent prior to my stay there in 6 weeks...

I dont know davelinda.....those wine bottles can be heavy! We arrive 19 september so do say hello if we pass on the mountain! (my husband will be the one laden down with carrier bags of wine!) Recent reviews of Blue Gardens do not concern me,it is a place to sleep at the end of the day

Hi Folks The hill is ok but sometimes the lights on the road don't work so it can be a bit hairy.
Blue gardens are very clean and the pool etc is lovely. We found Elena to be a really nice woman who would do anything for you but a little problem with these apartments is the is no air conditioning which in 37 deg heat is not nice at all but I'm thinking sept whether would be milder so you should be ok
