We plan on going very soon, October will depend upon numbers and weather I think. Rena at Corfu Best Travel has got the trip on her list, think it goes on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday. pete.

We’d planned to go too, but not being able to walk is proving a problem. I want also to go to Othoni. Dive Easy have a fast boat that they say can do both, plus Mathraki, in a day - if you have €1000, that is! Next year, maybe!!

Yes Kath - It seems that not only is my brain disturbed, but my knee has come out in sympathy. I now know a little more about pain than I used to ... I’ll tell you in good time if Kelly needs to bring out any horse liniment!

I would advise ibuprofen gel, strapping it with a knee support. And keeping your knee elevated as much as you can. Ice packing is good if it's swollen (assuming your knee is still bothering you). If no better might be worth getting that looked at by the doctor if it's going on for long periods x x

My doctor advises people here to buy Ibuprofen gel from Lidls' as it's so much cheaper than him giving you a prescription !!!

Thanks Kelly - I’m throwing everything at it - Glucosamine, Polar Ice, Flexiseq, an hour of exercising, swimming & ice packs. The equivalent to Ibuprofen 10% over here is Roiplon 10%, but that warms it and it needs to stay cool. Strapping helps, put encourages swelling and I don’t want that. Had blood tests, X-rays and physio - all on a walk-in basis ... brilliant! but it’s just going to take time.
