That'll be me Jan is talking about arrived Sunday evening and then walked into Archaravi on Monday on what was a breezy day and was very pink that evening! Very deceiving how hot the sun actually was. Not complaining though. We have had 4 days of glorious sunshine and looks like it's staying for the rest of the week

Today we woke to 100% cloud cover, no rain, and a cool southerly breeze. The temperature is more or less the same as yesterday, but it feels so much colder due to the lack of the sun, and the wind. The cloud started yesterday afternoon giving us intermittent sunshine whilst still being very pleasant.
The readings for today, 24th. April, at 9.45am are :- Temperature 16.8oC and Humidity 64% Yesterday's maximum temperature was 19.8oC and minimum 10.8oC, the maximum humidity was 64% and the minimum was 54%.

Good morning, today we woke to high cloud with patches of blue sky. It is very still, with no wind, and Albania has disappeared into the mists. Yesterday remained cloudy with only the very occasional break in the clouds and stayed breezy until it died down in the evening. It just goes to show how deceptive the temperature readings can be; yesterday's maximum was 20.6oC, one of the 'warmest' days yet, but because there was no sun it felt cool even chilly!
Today, 25th April, the readings at 9.40am are:- Temperature 16.3oC and humidity 72% Yesterday's maximum temperature was 20.6oC, the minimum was 15.0oC and the maximum humidity was 68% and the minimum 57%.

Today we woke to a bright sunny, calm day, with very little wind and slight haziness. Yesterday turned out to be lovely once the clouds had burned off. It just goes to show what part the sun and the wind play in feeling warm. The maximum temperature was 19.0oC almost 2o lower than the previous day, but oh, did it feel so much warmer with the sun out and a gentle breeze. I check the temperatures on my weather station against other thermometers I have just to know that they are all reading the same, +/- a degree. If I didn't have the other thermometers I would seriously doubt my readings. Today is glorious and it feels lovely and warm on the balcony, yet the shade temperature is only 16.1oC.
Today's readings at 9.55am on 26th April are:- Temperature 16.1oC and Humidity 72% Yesterday's maximum temperature 19.0oC and minimum 13.5oC, the maximum humidity was 74% and the minimum 68%

Today we awoke to another lovely day, sunshine, very light winds and high cloud. The high humidity is causing the hills behind us to appear misty, and Albania is only just visible across the Corfu Channel. The humidity is only one of the many factors that affect how warm or cold we feel, the sun, wind, temperature, sunshine intensity, elevation and cloudiness all play their part. That is why I decided just to report the figures and give a little summary as otherwise it would be too complex. The sun here is fierce and the difference from shade to full sun can be as much as 10oC. Yesterday was beautiful, it stayed sunny and calm all day, the shade being noticeably cooler, chilly even, than being in full sun.
Today's readings at 9.25am on 27th April are:- Temperature 15.6oC and humidity 71% Yesterday's maximum temperature was 19.7oC and minimum was 11.4oC, the maximum humidity was 73% and the minimum was 65%

This morning we awoke to it having rained overnight, but although it is very cloudy, it is bright, with blue patches, and there is very little wind. Yesterday was a lovely dry, sunny day, with some cloud, with the wind completely dropping away to give us a lovely mild evening with a dead calm sea.
Today's readings on 28th. April at 10.00am are:- Temperature 18.1oC and humidity 75% Yesterday's maximum temperature 21.0oC and the minimum 11.0oC, the maximum humidity was 71% and the minimum was 64%.

Good morning from an unpredictable Roda. Today we awoke to blue skies looking towards Albania, but heavy low clouds over the hills behind us.The balconies were dry so I am presuming little or no rain overnight. The is a cool breeze coming off the sea. Yesterday turned out to much better than we thought it would be, no rain during the day and good spells of warm sunshine, with pleasant evening temperatures.
Today 29th April at 10.00am the readings are:- Temperature 17.8oC and Humidity 77% Yesterday's maximum temperature was 21.0oC and the minimum 15.4oC, the maximum humidity was 75% and the minimum 60%.

It is a beautiful morning today, we have sunshine and high cloud with just a gentle breeze. Yesterday developed into another lovely sunny dry day, with the haze disappearing so Albania emerged from hiding, and the heavy clouds over the hills here lifting.
Today's readings on 30th April at 10.00am are:- Temperature 18.1oC and Humidity 75% Yesterday's maximum temperature was 21.0oC and the minimum 11.0oC, and the maximum humidity was 71% with the minimum 64%.

Kalo Mina from a sunny Roda … time to go into the fields and gather wild flowers for our May Day wreaths. The absolute maximum May temperature ever recorded in Corfu Town was 340C, and those people arriving today, the very first official day of the season, are in for a treat. Most will have packed warm clothing as it can be cool at the start of the season, but next Wednesday/Thursday it is forecast to get close to that all-time extreme temperature. Let’s hope they packed their shorts too …!

Let's hope they have brought plenty of suncream, I've been in the garden all morning, took my shirt off because it was so warm - guess what? - the old shoulders are a tad red, even at this time of year it's possible to get burnt if you do not take precautions! pete.

APRIL 2015 This is a graph of the data I have collected this month. The date is along the bottom, the readings are up the side. Humidity is in percentage and the temperature is in degrees centigrade. We only had one wet night (early morning) during this period, which has made it a very pleasant April. The average daily maximum temperature was 20.1oC, the average daily minimum was 13.0oC, and the average morning temperature was 16.8oC. I would appreciate feedback if you want more or less detail. I would like everyone to be able to get the information they want from it. It is, however, just a little slice of the weather here in our part of Roda. A mile or two towards Kassiopi, or Sidari, or even heading into the hills the weather could be very different.

Today we awoke to a cloudy sky that has all the promise of a lovely day. It is calm and the sea is smooth. Albania is visible (just) across the Corfu Channel. Yesterday was another beautiful sunny, warm, dry day, a bit chilly in late evening, but not that you would complain for the time of year.
Today's readings at 9.10am are:- Temperature 16.3oC and humidity 73% Yesterday's maximum temperature was 20.3C and the minimum 13.2oC.
