I agree Stevie, I returned yesterday and spent a couple of evenings their last week with my wife, watching the sunset with a glass of dry white. The owner was explaining his plans for improvement over the winter.he has a new canopy ordered for over the boat, and will put more lighting around the sea wall, the piping is already in place. He was contemplating getting rid of the chairs outside, he said he paid 3 euros each for them. But I love them, they fit in with his gorgeous shabby sheek look. We loved it so much, we are trying to incorporate the venue into our daughters wedding next August somehowe, he said he would be happy to oblige. Andy.

Jon at the Boathouse seems to be closing quite often now, although I think he will open at weekends.

We were there from 4th - 21st September and visited every day early evening and late on way back to apartment (apart from 20th when there was a terrific storm) and it was open then.

We hope they do too, twistybird - it’s good to have a local when the weather is unpredictable. We were in there earlier this week and Jon is still non-commital ... we’ll ask again this weekend.

Hi rodarambler - I think Jon is taking a well-earned break in the UK with family. Once some of the complexes along the beach road closed for the winter, the passing trade stopped overnight.
