First of all thanks for the wealth of information on the forum about Roda - very insightful and your passion for the place shines through it.
We are regular visitors to the Island and next year (August 2015) we are considering a two week stay at the Roda Oasis...Can anyone confirm which Tour Company the rooms are being sold through next year?
Both Thomson and Thomas Cook show them as available, but I dont want to book with the wrong one and find that the accommodation being changed at the last minute.

Hi, Roda Oasis have used both Thomson and Thomas Cook in the last few years and usually make the decision for the next year toward the end of the season, so about now. The easiest way to find out is to go to their website and send an email to Kostas, one of the owners and he will be able to tell you. Website: www.corfu-greece.com/roda-oasis/Click on one of the email tabs to send an email, one on the right and one at the bottom of the page. Cheers, Malc

We have the same issue with Afroditi Hotel, as this year they are with Thomson and next year with Thomas Cook. At what point do we change the link on their web-page? Why don't you contact Kostas directly at Oasis through his website? - www.corfu-greece.com/roda-oasis/

Thank you Gentlemen for your advice, I emailed Kostas and he has replied to say that they will be using Thomson next year. Unfortunately after talking to Thomson tonight they are offering 2 bed apartments for 4 people, and there will be 5 of us.
So being keen to come to Roda, after already holidaying in Glyfada and Alykes Potomas in the past, we are looking at other options in the town.
Your not seeing the back of us that easy.

Is that five adults, coachandy, or are there children? Many four-person apartment owners will provide a fold-up bed for a child at no extra charge.

As Steve says, if you have a young child in your party you could get away with a 2-bed apartment and a fold-up bed (my sister did this many years ago at no extra cost).
I think Theodoros has accommodation to sleep 6 - you could look at them - I believe through Olympic.
Good luck! Regards, Kath.

It was 3 adults and 2 kids. But Thomson were adamant that max occupancy was 4 and we would need to book two rooms.
But it's not all bad with so many good places in Rods we have other options to consider.

This is the Thomson factor and the way they sell their holiday's unfortunately. Roda Oasis(Kostas)I am sure, would be more than willing to help with such issues as they have with me and my family in the past, but you would have to book flight and accommodation separately. Flight through Thomson or whoever and accommodation directly with Roda Oasis, which worked fine when I did it a few years ago. Hope this helps, Cheers, Malc

Lots of independents will help - it may be difficult through a tour operator. One more reason to come under your own steam.
