... it's hardly surprising - well, it is August! With light westerly winds, temperatures this week are set to rise to 370C, feeling realistically like 440C. With dew point levels as they are, it will feel very hot - please drink lots of water.

What's the forecast for next two weeks, arrive on Monday. The weather sites indicate a mixed bag,but local forecasts are more accurate I reckon.

Nobody can forecast two weeks accurately, especially this year, and at this time of year. Forecasts are, at best, a selection of scenarios that may, or may not, come true. At the moment, there seems to be a big one buidling for Tuesday - it's a bit early, but then 2014 has been different everywhere. If we get a storm, it will be spectacular - enjoy it!

For once I'm pleased to be back home, I don't think I could cope in them temperatures. I'm never happy am I hahahahaha. Like Steve says make sure that you all apply excessive amounts of sun cream and drink double your weight of water.
Happy holidaying regards Kelly x x

I wish I wasn't such a bad traveller on boats - get really sick as we found out the hard way on the Paxos and Parga boat trip

The first time we did this trip a couple of years ago we booked with N.S.K. Travel, it was excellent, we had over 2 hours on Vidos island then circled Mouse island with plenty of pauses for photo taking, then we stopped at the beautiful sandy Kalamaki beach on the way back. This time we booked with Corfu Best Travel who used a different boat company, we had 55 minutes on Vidos island - nowhere near long enough, then the boat stopped 100 yards from Mouse island to allow people to swim off the boat - no photo oportunity, then we stopped at the pebble beach of Nisaki. I know who I'm booking with next time. pete. p.s. - couldn't photo the Dolphins Kelly, they were not around long enough.
