If you like gardening, then come to Corfu - these perfect trusses of tomatoes started life as reseeds on a compost heap. We dug out a lump of compost, watched them grow, potted them on and soon we will eat them. The only cost was a bit of loam and some water. Somehow, wild tomatoes taste a little bit better!

Be careful what you wish for Gil - you could be inundated and end up with a Roda Red face! These are clearly not from Sainsbury's!!

You drive a hard bargain, Gil - I love warm fresh figs more than tomatoes! I'll offer five tomatoes for a fig ...

If only I could pick these and let them ripen in Roda then we have a deal Steve I've had a lot of figs every year from this tree but this year they have gone mad and that's just one branch.
Hope the new owner likes figs

I, unlike the majority of UK would love it if we got them tomatoes in the supermarkets back home!!! It's all about having everything pleasing on the eyes, perfectly formed that the UK public crave. I say sod that give me a lemon that is the same size of my head, which has got no added chemicals or treatments. Or a banana which is odd shaped I like these imperfections, let's face it we are an imperfect race
