I can strongly recommend the Kokkinisto I have tried this dish at many in Roda all are excellent but Pangalos is to dye for.
The first time I had it there the infamous George was the waiter I was so impressed with the meal that I asked George if I could have another plate full of just the sauce and they duly obliged and also gave us the recipe and we make it quite often.
It's known as Beef in a red sauce with mash potatoes.

I hope you put lots of cinnamon into that sauce, Gil. I watched a chef in Corfu Town once and he stirred the sauce constantly for 40 minutes until it had reduced by half, the onions had disappeared and it was deep red. It was sensational and well worth the effort.

Absolutely Steve also the way the beef is done is important it has to be really tender Sue has got it off to a tee.

Been going to Roda for 20 years but didn't try it until two years ago.
Would thoroughly recommend it, went in about four times last year. The lamb is amazing!

Hi withgreekorigins22 Alexandros aka Smileys do a nice one another is To Steki in Doukades along with a few others all are delicious as different chefs cook it with slight variations but my preference is pangalos.
Another favourite restaurant of ours is Sunrise about 3 miles away just before karousades on the right hand side beautiful views.

Many thanks for the recommendations Gil, all these years of going to roda, I'm clearly still a novice with it all! I don't have to wait long and I will be sampling some of the delights the roda eateries has to offer again - my favourite is el mar at the moment

Hi Kelly Don't know why but we didn't try El Mar last year but we had Sue's sister and other half with us and neither of them are fish lovers so we gave it a miss but we will give it a go in July.
