There is a post on Corfu grapevine that suggests that Cruesoes building is up for sale. Any more information on this Steve/Pete?

We've seen the post that you refer to smg, and can confirm that the whole building is up for sale, including the apartments upstairs. I understand that Alex does have a contract for the 2015 season. Anyone interested should contact Vassilis by email on vass.alexakis@gmail.com

Unless Vas has drastically reduced what he thinks it's worth it'll still be for sale for many many years to come, nearly fell off my chair when he told mw what he wanted. pete.

Hahaha Pete! That brings to mind a "conversation" I had years ago with my sister-in-law who was adamant that her property was "worth" a certain amount - and no matter how I tried to explain, she didn't grasp that any property anywhere is only worth what someone else is prepared to pay you for it. I swear to God (as someone once said)!

Kath, there is another thread about this topic elsewhere on the forum.
I may be wrong but I don't think there will be a queue of people trying to buy - and dont think it will be sold until / unless the price begins with a "2"
See you in September.
Regards, Kath.
