Hi everyone, as you can guess this is our first time visiting Roda, in fact Corfu. We are really looking forward to our Holiday especially after reading the posts on Roda on-line. We are coming out for the first two weeks in September and staying at the Melinda Apartments. We were hoping that someone could tell us what weather to expect at this time of year as we have never been to Greece in September. No doubt we will have a million other questions before we go but will leave them for a later date. Hope to hear from you soon and get involved with this very good forum. Regards Michael and Pauline.

The weather during the first two weeks in September is usually glorious with daytime temps around the 30 degree mark, it can cool down a bit at night & you might want to bring a cardigan or light jacket with you. pete.

Hi Gremlindog, a full English breakfast with a drink will cost you about 5 euros - don't plan on being very energetic after! An evening meal main course is anywhere from 8 to 12 euros depending on what you choose. Large bottles of water are up to 2 euros for 6 in the mini markets, in the larger supermarkets in Acharavi they are as little as 1.18 for 6. Soft drinks are 1 - 1.5 euros each depending where you buy them, cans of pop are 1 euro in the minimarkets. And now the important stuff ! An ice cold draught Mythos is 2.5 - 2.8 euros for a large one - fraction under a pint, you can get cheaper local beers from as low as 1.5 euro per pint, the choice is yours! pete.
