Hi All Please could any body tell me if you can buy salbutamol inhalers, the name on the box is Aerolin Inhaler made by GlaxoSmithKline in Roda, and if so any idea of the cost. We fly out on the 12th of August for 2 weeks and it would be nice to know if I could buy one in an emergency.
Thanks

Hi homerj and welcome the forum. An expat nearby has been using salbutamol here for years. His son-in-law owns a chain of pharmacies on Merseyside and he said that even he could not buy them in bulk for the cost of one over here. I don't know what they cost now and I'm not sure if 'Aerolin' is something special, but you should have no problem. Ask for Alexandra at the pharmacy near Roda crossroads and she will be happy to help.

Hi Steve Thanks for the info, salbutamol is the same stuff I use. It costs me over £7 for just 1 in the uk on prescription. I shall go and see Alexandra while I'm there.
Thanks
