Hi Dee12 & welcome to the forum, congratulations on your upcoming anniversary, to answer your last question first, the coach transfer can take that long, depending on the number of drop offs and how long it waits at the airport for another flight sometimes, a lot of regulars book a taxi from the village (the airport ones usually cost more & may not know where Theo's is). If you have a good look around this forum there are alternative transfer companies that will take you from the airport to here, some of our regulars use them every year. There are many good places to eat & drink, everyone has their favourite and again nearly all of them have revues on this forum under "roda bars" & "roda restaurants". Most of the trips available at the various travel shops are also covered by our members. Theo's is one of the most popular accomodations in the village. Have a browse around the different topics and feel free to ask any more questions that you may have, one of us will have the answer. pete.

What Pete said! Hi Dee, welcome to the forum. Hope you'll enjoy your first visit to Roda - I know I did, 19 years ago, so much so, i've not been anywhere else since! lol I fly out on 14th June - hope to meet you at some point. It's always nice puting a face to a name. There is a wee informal get together, on a Wednesday, every week, with whichever forum members are in the village at the time, getting together for a coffee & a gab! You can find the venues for each date, here on the forum.

Hi Dee id get a taxi . We stayed at Theos last year managed to have a couple of drinks , see our room, put our stuff away and were having our next drink by the time the coach came . The taxi was 50 euro and was worth it to us . We got the bus back because the last pick up was Theos ! Enjoy your hols you wont be dissapointed

If you prebook a taxi with Roda taxis, it's only 50 euros.

I must admit we hire a car pick up from the airport these days, highly recommend getting a taxi... I fell in love with Roda and the wonderful people on my first visit and have returned there every chance I get... I am there from 3 June so I will still be around (find me at Mistrals singing my heart out lol) Hope you love the place as much as we do x
