I've seen them in many shops in & around the village. My dad goes for a wander every day & comes back with a paper. Will ask him where he gets it!

They aren't cheap to buy in Corfu. If you have a Kindle take out a free 14 day subscription and download one by Wi fi each morning

As Tony says, 'Roda Stop' (aka Arkrights!) next to Tropicana is the newspaper centre in the village. National and International newspapers and magazines - many on the same day they are issued in the countries of origin.
There is a pedestrian crossing, but the lights have not worked for a while other than the flashing amber to tell everyone to take care.

You can also buy newspapers from the shop in the 'new block of shops' near The Drunken Sailor.

Kath, that's where I was thinking my dad got them, but wasn't 100% sure.

I am not computer literate but as I said I am at the moment in Alvor with a laptop for the first time.Free wi fi available where we are staying. We are staying at Blue Gardens, not sure about free wi fi but if widely available in Roda would mean less need to buy daily papers

Lots of places in Roda have free wifi. Think some people just like reading a newspaper. I know my dad wouldn't have a clue about getting online.
AND my mum likes doing the crosswords. lol

I think the shop you are talking about is GP Family Supermarket next to Nemo.

Try the second gift shop opposite the Afroditi pool. Mirror usually available mid-morning, Mail and Star about 2pm. 2 to 2.50 Euros.

There's a little store down by the side of Nino's on the Beach which we take a walk to. Newspapers are usually in around 3 ish.
