I've just had another look and I think you may have had the right website but were looking at a private transfer for 1-4 which is basically a taxi. You need to choose the shuttle bus option

Thanks for that website Nikki, we've always used A2B transfers but that one is certainly cheaper and we were an hour in airport before we even left last year, then 2 hours on route so even if this one t akes the same time at least it's cheaper....

You're welcome Elaine. I think it might even be the same coach, just a different company selling the seats, so the transfer time will be the same but you can't complain at that price

Just had a look - that option definitely didn't come up when I tried yesterday. Will run it by David & see if he'd be willing to do that. I would rather not be wasting valuable sunbathing time to do a return trip to the airport on a bus/taxi to get him. lol

I don't blame you Jackie. Just sell it to him that he'll be getting a cheap tour of the Island

Exactly! I assume you just look out for them at the airport, like you used to do with reps - do they just hold a board with the company name on it?

If I remember correctly I think they're part of the Lord Travel company and they've got a little booth just outside of arrivals where you meet reps, taxis etc. When you book you'll be sent an email giving instructions on what to do

Lord Travel is the booth we went to with A2B so sounds like it's the same. My daughter travelled out by herself last 2 years Jackie and used the transfer no problem.

How old is your daughter? I have every faith that David will be fine with it, it'll be Colin that'll be panicking in case he gets lost! lol

I must confess that I took the advice of a friend to use Corfu Airport Transfer. If you care for your nearest and dearest DO NOT repeat DO NOT use this company. We had the most hair-raising ride to the airport on Monday afternoon with a driver who should not be allowed to play with a Dinky Toy. He was a maniac on the road, a menace to other road users and pedestrians. I sincerely apologise to each and every forum member who took my advice to use this company

I see the saga continued, kernowman - the return journey sounds more 'interesting' than the outward one!! At least you got to Roda - eventually .... I did report your journey on Trip Advisor.

Kernowman's report of the return journey to the airport can be seen on Trip Advisor on AIRPORT RETURN. There are both good and bad reports about this company but it is clear there is a degree of inconsistency at the very least. The final choice is yours, but it's clear that cheapness does not always equate to value-for-money.
