we have been coming to roda since 1984,and though we have been to several other countries(spain, carribean, france)we always feel like weve had a holiday when we come back from roda, our family have all been and they feel the same, weve seen places change hands, change names weve seen many lovely people "pass on"and new faces arrive, weve brought an old house and now are in the process of re-building it, hopefully in the "old way",we tell everyone we know to try corfu, roda in particular, and when people ask why we come back to the same place year after year we tell them that once theyve been they will probably(hopefully) feel the same..this year we were kubaras(best man and woman)to our "son"the happiest day weve had.. troubles come and go but roda (corfu) hopefully wont change

What a lovely post Hazel. Almost 30 years visiting and now you've bought your own place! Perhaps you should consider registering as a member of this Forum? - You clearly have a wealth of experience and knowledge of Roda and the surrounding areas; your contributions could be of valuable assistance to other members and guests! Best wishes and good luck with the renovation project. Kind Regards, Chris

You have captured the spirit of what many of us feel, Hazel - and what an honour to be a κουμπάρα.
