Hi Anita - almost certainly Drosia, the grill rooms and, as Dave told me two days ago, Petrino will be open maybe 2/3 days each week. My big hope for the winter is 'O Arabas' - probably the nearest to where you live and not well known at all. I went there last night and it is perhaps the most authentic of restaurants in Roda. Four of us shared a kilo of suckling pig roasted on the spit, together with a tsipouro meze, a Greek salad, chips, bread and drinks, and the cost was just £7.20 per person. What a wonderful experience. We were there early and we thought the place was empty until we left at 10pm - when we looked back, at least 50 people had sneaked in while we were drooling, most of them Greeks, and hopefully this bodes well for the winter. When I get chance, I will go back and ask Yiannis, the owner, about the winter.
Steve

It is very easy to find as it is almost directly opposite the Hotel Milton. The food, atmosphere, decor and above all the friendliness of the staff made for a lovely evening.

Go straight across the crossroads past Island Tropicana, Hotel Milton is a few hundred yards on the right.

Not much more than 100 metres from the crossroads, this is what to look for: ... and this is HOTEL MILTON

Don't know the restaurant but it sounds good. Knew the Milton very well in the early 1990's, friends of ours stayed there for years, we spent lots of time over that way and in the 'old' Tropicana

That sounds really nice to try out for next year. Is it next to the cocktail lounge that opened this year? So glad to see that site coming alive again. Bev
