Hi!! Having Roda withdrawal symptoms (been back in UK 4 weeks!), I looked up Theo's August 2013. Two weeks from Stansted for 4 adults = £3700.00!!! WHAT? ?? Goodness me that's a lot of money. Nicola

Hi Vodkalil, that is with Olympic, who we always go with as Theo is tied into some kind of deal with them for peak Summer season. I did toy with booking Elizabeth this year before we got a last minute deal for Theos again (but really rubbish flight times - may not want those again!) We had the coach ride from hell leaving Roda at 11.15pm - honestly I thought I was going to die lol. Then a 1 hour wait outside the airport. We got into departures 10 minutes before the gate opened! I thought going home late at night would work better but obviously they only have a skeleton staff. Nicola

Sounds horrendous Nicola..... Might be worth looking into Elizabeth again or even Angelina Apts next to Theo's at least then it would be just like you were staying there. A friend of mine stayed there this year and said they were very nice and it's Theos pool etc they use. The price seems very expensive from Olympic for Theo's itself.

Don't know if you could fly from Luton or not but with Olympic a 2 week package in August 2013 to Theo's is currently showing as £2,400 for 4 adults. The other alternative is to fly from Gatwick or book accommodation and flights separately. The Angelina Apartments are very good and right opposite Theos. Tony

Perhaps its Stansted that's the issue then; we usually go from Gatwick but the cab costs £100 each way and this year, because we landed at 5am, the cabbie literally kept falling asleep at the wheel on the way home. My husband kept nudging him awake (yes, seriously) and I was prattling on about anything I could think of trying to keep his attention and, already having had the homebound journey from hell (see earlier post!), I was exhausted!! Yes, we can go from Luton so will re visit, thanks! My husband gets a little too cosy at Theo's of an evening/morning so I thought Elizabeth would be near but not too near! Usually he comes home when it's light and the cockrel is crowing and the dog is barking LOL Nicola

What a wonderful name that is Theo's. My husband though is really fed up of it.. When he get's home from being away working all week he will go in the fridge or cupboard and all he hears is " Don't touch that it's Theo's " Obviously my grandson Theo and not THE Theo Having seen how much they want for you I am sure it would be somewhat cheaper to drive down to a airport that can give you cheaper flights etc.. Surely it would work out somewhat cheaper all round and even if you don't drive to get on a bus and even staying in a hotel on either leaving or coming home from Corfu. I know its not too far away but we travel to Bristol and get a cheaper flight out and that's including car parking and a room for the night when we get back instead of traveling home at 1 am .. We still save nearly £200 doing that.. If I had to travel to Birmingham to save a few ££ we would because how short money is these days.... I would try to do everything independently even if you couldn't stay at Theo's. Hope you find a better deal x

Did quick check, and OK airport miles away but usually way dearer Newcastle two weeks August 2013 came up as £658 per person on Olympic site. Which is about same as this year.

Having checked one or two other accommodations in the village for the same time this year, Nicola, the prices seem somewhere near the mark and actually indicate that prices are not being increased in 2013. You are looking at one of Roda's most popular destinations, in peak season and with all transfers included - unless you find a special offer somewhere, then I think it will be hard to beat. In fact, based on this year's bookings, I suspect that you will have to book early to secure a place.

I have to go to Manchester to get to Roda cheap & stay in the apartments I want. I live less than 20 mins from Glasgow airport. But if it's what it takes to get to Roda, I will keep doing it.

I think we all feel the same Jacks. I don't mind the traveling and my local airport is only a 5 minute drive away from my front door, but to get cheaper flights we drive to Bristol as I have said earlier. We would even go as far to drive to Birmingham if need be and stay the night if it worked out cheaper than flying from home.
