Apparently Ryanair have announced year round flights between Corfu and Stansted. Prices dont look to bad either.

Unfortunately I heard today via another website that these flights have been cancelled.

Have heard too. Ryanair cancelled winter schedules and refunding people who have booked.

I haven't read anything about this issue, and I'm not sure what Anita has heard. It has been said that the airport authorities in Corfu do owe money to Ryanair, but it may also be the case that the other airlines have protested about Ryanair's preferential arrangement and caused this to happen. If that is so, then it's bad news - in a commercial world, every business seeks to secure and advantage and those that do so should not be targeted by others who have been less successful. In the final count, it is Corfu's customers who suffer.
