Sorry folks but there's very little to report this morning, it's just too hot to do much of anything, think I spent more time in the sea yesterday than I did on the sunbed, there were smiles all around last night as we caught the U.K. weather forecast, the only people unhappy about it were those headed home today. Finally caught up with Jomike & had a good old natter over a drink or two & Mike helped Debbie get second place in Crusoe's quiz. Will no doubt see May and Ricky later and we're looking forward to Jackie & Colin's arrival tomorrow. Had a good play with Sara & Alex's daughter Eva yesterday, she is Beautiful and getting cheeky with it. Because it's so hot all our planned trips are on hold at the moment, we'll see how it is next week. Right then, another hard day beckons, breakfats, sunbed, sea - couldn't you just stay here forever ? pete.

ARGH! 27 hours or so, we'll hopefully be touching down. Lying here, istening to the pissing rain, contemplating getting up. And thinking I may have to rethink my outfit of cropped trousers & sandals for heading to Manchester.

Kalimera from the sun on sea, it's going to be another scorcher here in Roda, Jackie & Colin won't know what's hit them when they get off that plane. Shame about the footy last night but they gave it their best shot & didn't lose through a lack of support in the bars over here, I've never seen so many Greek shirts being worn. We saw May & Ricky who had a good flight unlike a couple we talked to who were sat on the plane at Manchester for an hour due to the rain being so bad. It's a big day for Debbie and me as we are due to meet the civil engineer in charge of our house build later when we will be marking out the exact position of our house on the plot of land. Second again in the quiz last night - I'm blaming the weather, after all it gets blamed for everything else pete.

Hello once again from red hot Roda, our dream took another step closer yesterday as we marked out the position of the house, got my first mozzie bite when we were doing it but seeing as it happened on our land it's ok because he was my little mozzie ;D Jackie & Colin joined us, Kath & Rob, Pete & Yvonne in Crusoe's where the quiz took a back seat, I don't think we stopped laughing all night, with Steve & Jan and Ricky & May popping in it was one of the biggest F.G.T's I've ever seen. With the church bells signifying that it's a day of rest I'm off for another lazy day on the beach - it's getting too hot to do anything else. pete.

We come out to Roda on the 6th July and can't wait.
We've been to Corfu many times but after a day out in Roda we felt so relaxed and at home here have decided to book in this resort this year.
Where's a nice place to eat and where is the best karaoke?
Counting down the days til we go now! Hope all that are already there are having an amazing time! ;D

Hi The Palmers - you will find some of the restaurants listed on www.rodaonline.org/Roda-Pages/ - a lot depends on your preferences, but there is something for everyone. There is karaoke around the village - Pirates' Bar is popular. Steve
