Hi Applejack, most flight only deals allow you to put any length of stay in, I know Easyjet fly from Bristol but you only get them cheap if you book early, after that all the prices are much the same, a word of caution though - if you want a flight back at the end of the season the prices are usually pretty steep as they know that people have to get back & charge accordingly. pete.

I just had a look Applejack and easyjet from Bristol looks like your cheapest, I looked at flights from Exeter and they were quite a bit dearer with Thomson (easyjet didn't fly from there) b ut as Pete says it's best to book when flights are released or really early on. Hope you find something.

Thanks for your help, the cheapest I have found is £190 per person from Bristol That's a 'no-brainer' Applejack - GO FOR IT !!!As you can see from the side-panel, I too live down in the south-west which gives us no realistic option other than to fly from Bristol. (Exeter is always far more expensive!) I've been keeping a close eye on the EasyJet prices which have been steadily rising over recent weeks, and continuing to do so - and decided to jump in and book last week (should have done it earlier). Return cost for both of us was £575.40 !!! Made up from: FLIGHTS £506.40 LUGGAGE (x2) £60.00 and STD. ADMIN. CHARGE £9.00. This is OUTSIDE of the School Holiday period and compares to a total cost last year of £361.60. That's a colossal increase of 60% and significantly more than the cost of our accommodation/transfers/air-con etc. - added together !!!!!!! Perhaps EasyJet has signed-up to this year's "Holiday at Home" campaign? Rgds, Chris

Ouch that is a big increase Chris I paid less than that for a family of five by booking the day that the flights came out. When are you going?

The best thing you can do Applejack is to register for Easyjet's newsletter, that way you will get an e-mail when next year's flights are available for booking. They used to become available in November but came out earlier last year, to get the really cheap deals you have to book in the first week or so, then the price rises (still a good price) then later ir rises again to become much the same as the other operators. Failing that, just keep looking on their site, it only takes a couple of minutes to see whether you can book certain dates or not. Hope this helps. pete.

I booked my flights for May this year when the timetables were released July 2011. Return cost for 2 was £243 in total. Hasn't been as low since. I booked the day after the dates were released
