I have to admit it...... I tend to eat English food in Roda, My hubby and kids eat Greek but I'm one of these boring eaters. I love coming to Roda for the place and people and not forgetting the sunshine but can understand people eating English food. Food is not what I go on holiday abroad for. Don't get me wrong I have tried different things (from hubby's plate) but alas not for me. I wouldn't dream of not going someplace just because I don't eat the local food it's just not what I go on holiday for.

Of course not everyone has the same taste buds and stick to what they enjoy.....so if you like English food and the Tavernas serve it, well eat it, each to their own...I tend to stick to fish or chicken kebabs, I like some of the Greek food, stuffed peppers or stuffed tomato and do try other dishes, the thing is I haven't got a big appetite and hate to waste food...........but the METAXA is great.......................

I agree with John, Jackie - the only meal I ever had in Scotland was a breakfast twenty years ago in Paisley. It was very tasty but, to this day, I have no idea what it was. How many 'S's' are there in sasanach? Steve
