I have always been fascinated by the way the French describe a small island connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus - a 'presque d'île.' (A nearly island!) How is this for a 'presque de jetée'?

Has this been cleared yet or is it still like that?

The jetty has been cleared, Dan, and most of what you see in the original pic has now gone. There is still an accumulation in the corner opposite Spiro's shop.

Hi Steve
I've emailed a couple of places (though links in this site) on spec about availability. I havent heard back form either of them. I wonder if you could email me so I can check out some specifics with you. I'm not sure if they've just not got around to answering or if they haven't received them. Perhaps phoning them would be a better option?
Regards
Lynda

Hi Lynda, to send a personal message to a member or to see a member's e-mail address you have to register as a member yourself. Once you have done this simply click on a member's name on any post & you will be taken to their profile page where all their details are shown. pete.

... but you're posting as a "Guest" Lynda If you are already registered as a member, then in order to access other members as Pete says, you must "login" using the link at the top of the page - and enter your forum "USERNAME" and "PASSWORD". Rgds, Chris
