One other thing to check, becks - did you copy & paste the Dromeas address, because it is a strange one with a hyphen before the @ symbol?

yup copied and pasted it, and have checked my spam filter just incase a reply was sifted out by that too.
the pm i sent online i did at the same time (well one after the other) as i did to nsk, getting details of their insurance cover. i've had a reply from pegy at nsk, so would appear pms were working at the time.
maybe dromeas are extremely busy with it being height of summer, and more people than norm hiring cars due to the taxi strike?

Thanks everyone for your help - despite the taxi strike being over looks like we will be taking the plunge and hiring a car anyway. If we aren't in Roda by the 3rd will someone please come and look for us, it means we have either had a long delay or taken a wrong turning!

Thanks everyone for your help on this - as the taxi strike is off until at least 05/09/11 we have decided to get a taxi from the airport as originally planned-it means Nick can enjoy a drink in the air, however we may hire a car whilst in Roda, and if we do Dromeas will certainly be our first port of call.
Next year if we are back in Roda (Which is looking quite likely) we should have a couple of extras with us - my parents, so car hire will definitely be on the agenda then.
For this year, to get back to the airport, we figured as we have to be at the airport for 12:00hrs anyway, we wont really miss out if we spend an hour or so extra on a coach, so we have booked a shuttle to the airport with a2b, as we don't want to gamble on what will happen with the taxis after 05/09/11.

Thanks Nikki, only 26 day to go and getting proper excited now.
We had a lovely email from Yannis last night~said if the strike was back on would of dropped us at airport in own car.We thought that was really sweet, but we don't like to put on peaople so had already paid the transfer, will be an experience anyway for Nick who hasn't done a Roda transfer before.
Also had a two day car hire quote from Dromeas, very impressive, so may well do abit of touring whilst across.
