Well what can I say, every year our trip to Roda is more enjoyable than the last, mainly due to the friendships that have been made on this forum. There were so many of us there at the same time that wherever we went there was somebody there to share it with.
We spent most days at Theo's pool with the lovely Susan (Boydies) and her family and the evenings were spent between Crusoes, Mistral and Oscars having a little bit too much ouzo (much to the embarrassment of my poor children). We had some great laughs with Pete and Debbie, Jackie and Colin, Pedro747, Treece and Tiffy to name but a few and there were some unforgettable karaoke moments.
We stuck to our favourite restaurants for our evening meals including Roda Park, Opa, Smileys and Thalasea. We had the mezes at Maggies twice which were wonderful. Maggie also put on a lovely spread for Alisha's 13th birthday and had a cake made for her which was lovely. We would have liked to have tried some different restaurants but two weeks just isn't enough.
We had three days out including an all inclusive day at Hydropolis which I can't recommend highly enough, a trip to Paleo which included an hour on a boat and a few hours on paradise beach with a barbecue and we hired a boat from Sam and spent time at Canal d'amour.
Well now it's back to reality and an awful lot of washing but I really would like to thank all of my forum friends as well as the locals for helping to make it the best holiday yet.
