Yet another glorious day here, 73 degrees already and no wind yet they are still forcasting the Maestro for tomorrow so it looks like the trip to Erikousta is off, shame but there's always next time. Free breakfast coming up thanks to Debbie winning the music quiz last night with a little help from Mike, then it's top up the tan time down on the beach, pete.

Enjoy your day Pete and the Festival on Sunday. Remember to keep up your liquid ( Mythos ) intake in that heat.!

It's hard work holidayman but someone has to do it, I was playing with the camera settings down on the beach, taking snaps of the odd boat when one pulled right on to the beach, the owner got and shouted over to the New Port, by now a small crowd had gathered around the boat so i made the effort to get up & stroll down to it, it was full of freshly caught sea bream, sea bass & various other fish. Whoever orders fish at the new port tonight couldn't get anything fresher than that. There was a stiff breeze building up by the time we left the beach, the forerunner of the Maestro perhaps. Can't decide where to eat tonight but do know that wherever we go it will be lovely & too much ! pete.

Another great report pete..........I am so envious of you all out there in that "heat".......and to see the fishing boat come in to sell his catch must have been very interesting..........been a stiff breeze here every day!!!!...........so it may cool you all down a little when it comes

Saw Jomike last night, Jo had had the sea bream at The Newport & said it was delicious. A joint effort saw the crazy gang take second place in the film quiz, two free cocktails duly quaffed by Jackie & Nikki, then a nice surprise as Kostas who used to work at K.H.P. turned up, he's still great fun and we had a nice chat. Also saw Mary from Majorminor who has brought all her family over this year, Tommy was off to the airport to pick their son up. It looks like it's going to be another hot one so it'll be down to the beach for another lazy day, i see no one's got the latest riddle, if it's any consolation niether have Nikki , Jackie or myself. pete.

Cancel that last statement because i know where it is, i had an idea & Steve confirmed it this morning. Good job we didn't book the boat trip, what started off as a cooling breeze this morning had almost cleared the beach by 15:00hrs & it looks like the forcasters were correct - it's now blowing at 25m.p.h. Both Sam & Rick had taken their boats out of the sea and they get it right most times. pete.

Another beautiful start to the day here but although the wind had dropped by midnight the sea was still very rough and the word on the street was that if it didn't calm down then the boats with the singers on would be cancelled tonight, fingers crossed that it does but i've just been outside and could hear the sea from where i am at Pipitsa's. We had the pleasure of meeting all of Majorminor's family last night up at Oscar's, think there were 10 of them in total. The church bells are ringing so it must be time for breakfast then down to the beach to see how rough that sea is. pete.

Unfortunately no longer on site but back home with some more great memories, a brilliant holiday once again but better this time with so many forum members there at the same time. The village was packed on Sunday night for the festival, i've never seen so many of the locals around at the same time. 9 weeks till part two, will have to doctor the ticker & start counting the days again ! Just like to thank all the members i met during the two weeks for making it so enjoyable and of course Steve for all his help. Will do a full write up on the two island cruise soon. pete.
