Beach Volleyball has become a regular event in Roda, and very popular it is too. This year's three-day tournament will be for teams throughout north-west Greece and any others who want to apply. At the moment, there are 16 two-man teams and 8 women's teams. This is more than normal and there will be two courts made on the beach to get all the games into the time available.
Some of the players at this year's tournament are professional players and there will certainly be TV coverage from Corfu Star and 'net's 'Menoumai Ellada' programme. There will be stands erected for 400 people and a presenter explaining what is happening in Greek, and in English.
This event takes place on the 8th/9th & 10th of July and this year will be followed by a beach party on the final day starting at 7:00pm.
Teams from other countries are invited to apply and some help can be given with accommodation.
It promises to me a memorable three days in Roda.

Sounds like fun - the beach party is the day before we go home so will make up for us arriving the day after the Festival.
