Hiya,
Just a couple of Qs on two of the Roda Accomodations:- 1) Does Makis have saftey Deposit Boxes? 2) Does Coral Beach have somewhere to leave your luggage if you are on a night flight?
We are looking at another week later in th eyear and got some decent deals coming up for both of the above.

Hi Becky, Makis does have safe deposit boxes - i think they are at the poolside bar. As for somewhere to leave your luggage if you're on a late flight, i'm sure The Coral will have an area set aside, in saying that, i have left mine outside the apartment before now & it has always been safe. What dates are you looking at for later ? We'll be there first two weeks in September in you fancy a duel in Crusoes quizzes ;D pete.

Makis does have safety deposit boxes, at the bar - as you said, Pete. The place is locked up safely at night.
You can also leave your luggage safely at Makis too.
I know nothing about the Coral, but as Pete also says, i've left mine outside aparments - think they'd even be safe in the street, in Roda - except for the fact they may be run over by the mad Greek drivers! lol

There is definitely the possibility of a second trip later this year (will know for def either way end of May). If it happens then it'll be the first week Sep - although Nick reckons that he is being short changed in a dual as he will have me as a handicap lol.

That was us Steve, been here for over a week staying at Spiros Banos as usual and going back to England on Friday. Then only 12 weeks until we come back for our "proper" holiday. We took advantage of cheap flights and have really enjoyed out of season Roda!!!
Jimmy, Amanda and Sophie
PS - after coming to Roda for 18 years, we don't think of ourselves as tourists.........

Hi jpb - it is so good to hear that you are having a good time. April in Roda is very special and I'm sure you can now see why the locals like it so much. It's great to see that first trickle of intrepid visitors taking advantage of this wonderful month before the first charter flights start in a couple of weeks time. As I write this, there is a maistro blowing in from the northwest, but tomorrow will be sunny again and everyone will be out & about, relaxed and happy, optimistic and smiling. I hope next year, that more people can follow your lead. Shame you can't stay for Easter really! Please give us a review of your stay when you get back to the UK.

Thanks Amanda - I looked out for you today on the beach, but I guess that wind was just a bit too cold. Nice day though ..

All sorted, we are staying at Makis And we have managed to get flights that mean we wont have to abandon our luggage - instead we just have to hope we can get into our room when we arrive as will be about 23:00 - time to whip to Pirates for a night cap before bed!
