Airport transfers by taxi have become ever more popular over the last few years and many feel that more time in the resort is worth the extra cost. In addition, those who find the sometimes lengthy & circuitous coach journey from the airport a bit tedious, especially at the end of a tiring flight, often take this option and let their holiday begin the minute they step out on to Corfiot soil. Two taxi companies service Roda, but people may not be aware that only one of these is actually based here. Even though they cover other local destinations, only Roda Taxis is focused primarily in the village. If you want to support Roda, there is no better way than booking with Roda Taxis for your 2011 transfers. You can book in two ways:

Steve, have Roda Taxis confirmed the price of an airport transfer for this year? I see from another Corfu forum that Alfa have set their rate at 54 euros.
regards, Kath.

Hi Kath - yes they have. I thought I confirmed it a couple of weeks ago and the price on their page, under Roda pages, has been updated. In 2011, the airport transfer cost for a single journey for up to 4 people will be €50

Thanks Steve, I thought i'd read somewhere that it was 50 euros - apologies - I have my head in the sand sometimes - evidenced by my poor showing in the 'riddles'. Will arrange our taxis with Roda Taxis this year partly due to the misunderstanding between myself and Dimitra of Alfa Taxis last year.
very best wishes, Kath.

Sorry Jean, not to my knowledge. I think the licencing laws make that a difficult thing to achieve. You are either a taxi firm or a bus company. Nostos used to arrange a minibus, but for six people it was about the same price.
