Hi All.We came to Corfu in 2007 staying in Acharavi which we loved, but what we enjoyed most of all was walking along the sea front to Roda.We are returning to corfu in 6 weeks time staying in Roda at the Theodoros Fiona Apt and we cannot wait.As anyone stayed at these apts before if so your feedback would be welcome.Steve & Amanda

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum.
I will be arriving in Roda next Monday and will be staying at the Theo's for the 6th or 7th time.
The complex itself consists of a really good pool and surrounding gardens, as well as a large outside jacuzzi and a chill out area with outdoor sofas and tables. There is also a swim up pool bar and a great bar area/snack/restaurant area.
The complex is set down a little road and is situated equidistant from the centre of Roda in bothe directions. One way takes you to the beach in about 5 minutes and the other to the main crossroads in 5 minutes. A further 5 minute stroll from either of these points takes you right to the heart of Roda.
The accomodation consists of:
The "Fiona Apartments" that are just across the little road from the pool complex. These are very clean, basic typical greek apartments with either balbonies or verandas spread over 2 floors (ground and 1st, + 2 penthouse appts). They are set in lovely gardens and usually cleaned at least every other day. I believe that these are owned by someone else but rented out as part of the overall complex.
The "Theodoros" apartments themselves consist of two Bungalow style apartments, sleeping up to 6, set back in the lovely gardens alongside the pool area and there is a studio for 2 attached at the side. There is a further block of apartments (about 8 set over 2 floors again) just off the pool area in lovely gardens. The complex also also rents out apartments next to the "Fiona Apartments". These are called the Angelina appts and also 4 more next to these. All of the apartments are similar, however the "Fiona apartments" are slightly less modern in terms of decor.
The complex is run by Theo along with other family members and friends.
There is also a pool table, table tennis table, couple of games machines and a little park.
The food from the snack bar/restaurant is of a good standard and often some guests will have an evening meal there instead of going right into town. There is sometimes entertainment (Greek Night/Singer/Karaoke) and sometimes the music can be a little loud upto about 1am.
Overall though it is a fabulous little complex with really friendly staff. The pool can be popular as it is very nice and sometimes getting a sunbed might prove a little difficult.
I would definately however have a wander during your holiday, and try some different pools as well. Nino's on the beach is great, so too is the Pegasus hotel pool. All of the other pools welcome visitors with open arms and only request that you purchase any drinks or snacks from them and not too bring in your own; which is only fair.
I reckon that if you like a bit of a laugh on holiday and are fairly laid back, the Theodoros will be a great choice.
If you want any more info, just ask
Tony

We would like to say thank you for your feedback, sounds as if we have made a great choice .We were only talking the other day about how long it as been since we last visited Corfu back in 2007 and now time flies. What we remember most of Roda was how relax the resort is with its pleasant restaurants and bars. The resort is our cup of tea not to quiet but then not to busy if we wanted to go aboard staying in a place like Blackpool then why bother. The Greek people are the best in the way they respect you and as we know they have to make a living but it is the way they go around it which makes us return to the Greek islands every year.See you all soon. Steve & Amanda

Theo's excellent accommodation cames as a result of a lot of hard work. He is one of the first to appear in January and he has a team of people working every day until he opens at Easter. These people need to be paid before a single euro is taken in the till. Reflecting on the recommendations made on Roda Online, it is those accommodations who put in the greatest effort who seem to get the best reports. Theodoros is certainly near the top of the list.

Hi Steve & Amanda welcome to the Forum. Although I haven't stayed at Theo's myself , some of my friends have and they said that they had a marvellous time. I've stopped by to enjoy the odd refreshment and found a warm, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Johno
