If you look at Maggie's website, it tells you the good news that she is open again this year for breakfasts. Unfortunately, the webpage in Roda Pages still refers to last year. This is the announcement we made in February:
BACK 'N BUZZING -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Great news (we’re told) for those folk, friends and old customers alike, who need a satisfying start to the day. Maggie is doing her breakfasts again this coming season. She, and cook extraordinaire Vasso, will host a ‘Brunch ‘n Lunch’ session each day starting at 10:30 am with breakfast finishing at 4:30 pm and light meals & snacks, complete with cream teas & cakes, starting at 12:30 pm. This will give late arrivals and ‘all-nighters’ a chance to enjoy what has always been regarded as the best breakfast in the area.
A feature of last year was the success of the additional daily bistro board menu originated to help with tight holiday budgets whilst providing an exciting ‘value for money’ variety of pan-European dishes. This year, those most popular choices from that board will be incorporated into the main menu alongside the old favourites associated with Maggies’ and much highlighted on the internet.
There will still be room for a daily special to provide extra interest and Maggie’s homemade desserts will again surprise & delight.
Maggies’, “the original, and still the best” – working to make your holiday memorable.

The biggest and the best breakfast in the village, really missed it last year so i'm really looking forward to sampling it again a few times . I always mean to try the different types of breakfast on the menu, all of which sound great, but one look at the traditional full english and i put the menu down and sit & wait, knowing i'll not need to eat for the rest of the day. pete.

That's what we do Pete. After a couple of days we remember there's no point in even looking at the menu. Can't wait, 22 days from now for the breakfast we've waited two years for ;D

After two years Nikki, Maggie's breakfast is going to taste very good - an English breakfast better than you will find in England! Not long now!

I know Steve I can't wait. Three weeks from now and we'll be nearly there ;D
I bet Maggie won't recognise Alisha as she's grown up so much. I reminded her the other day how Maggie used to stroke her face to send her to sleep.

Hi Kath, there's a few places we've not been yet. Not been to Opa, Nicos or Estrella. I think it's because there are so many places we really love, we tend to just keep going back to them. We love Roda Park and Odysseus. We stay at The Elizabeth and they do a great breakfast there so we've never really been anywhere else in Roda for breakfast. Luv Jan X

I've only been in Maggie's once, since I started going to Roda, in 1994.

Hi Jan,
We too tend to go to the same places - our favourites being Roda Park and Compass. Last year we tried OPA which I would recommend - the food was delicious. Estrella is also to be recommended but if you have a starter make sure you share it as the portions are huge! The Nikos Family restaurant is excellent both for the quality of the food and the service. Looking forward to trying Maggies for brekky - we generally go to Crusoes particularly for the banter with Alex and Sara.
best wishes, Kath.
