The rates that you quote, Chris - are they before commissions and other deductions, or are they the amounts that you get in your hand?

I cannot vouch for all of them Steve, but LloydsTSB, Post Office, and I believe Cash Converters, are as quoted, is what you get in hand.

Don't forget the currency converter at the bottom of the Roda Essentials Page. This shows you the daily fluctuations and it's what you will get with a Nationwide Flexaccount. It also allows you to check what your bank or currency supplier is deducting for himself. Another thing to remember is that Currency dealers buy their money in advance and we reported last year that Thomas Cook were actually making 22% on exchanges of £1000, plus the high street commission.
