Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. Simon loved Roda, the people and the atmosphere. He was never happier than sitting in a restaurant with a caraffe of house red wine, or later in the evening having a double espresso at Nemo's whilst the kids were playing. This has been an awful shock for all of us. After 25 years together I feel that my heart has been ripped out - I'm not sure I will ever fully recover. Fortunately I have the 3 young girls. Simon would want me to carry on & raise them as he would have wanted. We will return to Roda - I'm just not sure when - they say time is a great healer - we will see. We have to return so that a part of Simon will forever remain in Roda. Although the 2 younger girls do not understand where their daddy is - I know when we return they will feel his love in Roda.
Again - many thanks for all your support.
Janet.

Hi Janet
Our thoughts are still very much with you and the girls.
Thank you for your message, I know many forum users have been thinking about you over these passed couple of weeks.
We have our last forum meeting today, and it is at Nemo. We will be sure to remember Simon when we are there.
When you are able to return to Roda, I know that people here will welcome you and the girls back. And in the years to follow, they will grow up remembering all the good times they spent here on holiday, together.
Yes, time is a healer but your memories and love will remain.
Stay in contact when you can Janet.
Julie & Steve

I should've pmd you about it yesterday. I just assumed you'd know, Steve.
Anna @ Alexandros said that she'd been worried that she hadn't seen her for a couple of days, so she phoned & there was no answer, so phoned her friend Anne who'd found her 5 mins previously. She seems to have passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Val was found yesterday at her home in Agios Martinos. The date of the funeral is, as yet, uncertain, but Wednesday has been suggested as the first possibility. I will keep you posted in case you might want to attend.

R.I.P Val, you will be sadly missed by all your friends. We spent a lot of time with Val this year, especially My mam Sheila before and after her stroke. What we do know is she had a lot of good friends in Roda who Went above and beyond to help her.
I would like to say a big thank you to Ann And Bill for all they have done for Val especially since Stella Passed away. Val told us how much Ann and Bill cared for her and how much she loved them. They have Proved again what great friends they are for what they are now doing since they found Val on Saturday Morning, we know you Are devastated by Val's passing but you are still there taking care of her.
God bless you, Lots of Love Jo & Sheila. xx
