I know Steve, ;D, I had posted the comment on another forum and copied over to the Rodaonline, but removed a comment that it had been reported on another forum, ie, this one. Just adding to the story from the local press.

Like Pete and Jacks, I would also like to say thanks to the people of Roda for making our stay so pleasant.
I managed to make it to the second FTG at OPA on 10th Sept where I had a lovely chat with fellow Geordies Dave and Linda. I didn't manage to speak to anyone else as hubby and daughter were waiting to go for a late breakfast, sorry about that as i was looking forward to a chat with Jacks to find out if she had managed to 'spot the Chrissy and Eric'.
We had a fantastic holiday at Ninos on the beach, Danny, Nino, Lindsay and Elpitha were just great and the accomodation was spot on. We are going to save hard to return next year, my mam and dad also loved it and have decided that this will be regular location for one of their 2 annual holidays. I also met Julie and Steve who were very helpful, I didn't have any bother with wasps after your advice Steve, and my daughter just kept telling me to stop doing the wasp dance and chill out!
Thanks again to everyone - i have put on 2 stone in weight from all the fabulous food.
Hope to meet you all again next year.
Cheers Andrea

I would like to thank Papitsa for making my holiday in August/September so special. What a wonderful welcome I received and her hospitality was second to none. She's a very special lady, and I hope to return next year.
Also thanks to Steve and Julie at the FGTs which I attended 2 weeks in a row. They too were very welcoming and the FGT was very interesting.
My thanks to Dimitris and his mother, The Corner, for the delicious snacks, they certainly kept me going. Lynda

Hi Lynda
Glad to meet you, at my first FGT. It's so good to put names to faces, isn't it? I'm glad your holiday went well.
Maybe see you next year at the same time!
