Having seen Georges boat in Kassiopi for many years I wondered where he moored over night. Roda doesn't seem to have a decent quay to be safe enough( I have only seen it from photos). I feel that I know George because I have seen him so many times over the years when he pulls into Kassiopi harbour. He uses the same bars as I do as he waits for his passengers to have a walk around. (George only has a coffee as he is driving) Alec.

Hi Alecko
George moors the boat at the harbour in Astakeri - the village where he lives, just around the headland from Roda. Which is ideal, as passsengers from Roda only have a very short transfer time at the beginning and end of day.
Roda's harbour was re-fashioned last year to allow for better flow from one side to another. It is very safe, and the new bridge is great for a stroll at anytime of day but particularly as the sun is setting.
