I was hoping to catch up with some folks on here now I am actually here in Roda at a FGT but sadly it clashes with a boat trip I am taking this Wednesday to Parga / Paxos with a 7.50 am start ! Well I was wondering what all the fuss was about this place Roda - well now I know ! What a fantastic place. So far since arriving yesterday morning we have been to Nikos, the Harbour bar, the Makis and tonight Roxannes - all have been great ! I am also pleased to with the Fiona accomodation / facilities. The taxi from the airport was well worth the price. The only thing I have found to be a pain so far are the mozzies. I tried the garlic capsules and all the sprays etc but the buggers just love me ! anyway it is a small place to pay. I have used the exchange facility at Dromeas at a good rate less 1%. having mentioned this forum. I wondered how to catch up with other members whils't I am here ? By the way Harry Potter has finally arrived here to - we hope to catch it tomorrow afternoon.

Hi kgde Delighted that you have fallen in love with Roda and your first visit is a good one. It's a shame about the FGT on Wednesday clashing with your trip but the Paxos/Parga trip is a real treat and I am sure that you will thoroughly enjoy the day. I guess you are only here for the one week? We are often in the village - I am in a red wheelchair and I wear a floppy hat (yes, everyone can laugh! ;D) and Steve's gnerally either wearing a battered old straw hat or an baseball cap (with officialroda on it!). If you would like to meet us for coffee sometime, maybe Thursday late morning, then let me know - we might be able to round up a few other members who are in the village this week for a coffee. Hope to meet you at some point - it would be a shame to miss you. Julie

Hi jacks - you can see Julie & I as well as Petra, Kelly, Bernard & Danny, JeanP & Kezzer, Marg, Alan Keegan & wife (sorry). Also there at the beginning, were Loz & Floz, Bob & Bobbie, Keith, Gareth & Jack. By the way, photos have now gone on to the Harbour Bar website and more are coming. The webcam still has a problem or two - coming soon!
