For those of you who knew the original Roda site, "Official Roda", then you will remember that we had an online shop shop selling merchandise. This ceased to exist when that site was altered.
We have been toying with the idea of producing a calendar of Roda for next year.
We would be interested in your comments about this, maximum price etc. Unlike the original online shop where items could be ordered and printed one by one, we would have to at least put in a small minimum order. We wouldn't want to do that without knowing that people would buy them.
So, tell us what you think and we will take from there or not!
Thanks Julie

You can count me in Julie, you must have read my mind. Only yesterday I was thinking of posting a thread asking if anybody would mind buying and posting me a Corfu calendar as I won't be there to buy one this year. I'd need it to have space to write things on (like the large ones you buy in the tourist shops) and I'd be willing to pay between £10 and £15. Nikki

Nikki Thanks Nikki This would be the type that we would order, local shots with room to write against each date. Any other thoughts about this and the price, please?? Julie

Hi Julie
I would be willing to purchase a couple of calendars.
Maybe you could do a discount on bulk purchase orders.
I hope you get a lot of replies so that you can go ahead with your plan.

Hello Julie,
This is a great idea, I agree with Nikki on the space to write things down, and maybe price wise from about £5 to £15.

Brian I am sure that if there seems to be enough interest to go ahead, then we can have a scale of charges for multiple purchases - good idea! Julie

Hi Julie, was wondering whether you can sell them at the Forum meetings as well, only I never use my bank card on the computer and I always buy a calendar when I'm in Roda, so I would be willing to pay £5 -£10...............Kaz

Yes please. We are very interested in purchasing Calendars. I agree with the larger space for writing on, and the prices quoted so far, are fine by me. Thanks Julie.

Ok - here's my thoughts after your replies. I would have them despatched from the UK, to keep postal costs down.
We would certainly have some at the FGTs.
The next question is how would people prefer to pay. I have paypal, so that would be easy, but I guess that not everyone has, so cheques I guess?
Looking at ordering a first batch, the costs are coming on within the targets suggested.
If we order soon, will people buy them now for next year?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Julie

Right - a decision needs to be made - If I order the first batch now of say 25, then I will have them by the end of the month and some here in Roda early August.
I will work on the photos over the next couple of days - we need a cross section of photos but if anyone has a particular one in mind of the photos posted wither by us on the forum, website or any magazine - let me know!

Hi Julie, how about "that" sunset when we were at Opa? I know Steve took one at the same time as me. I'll pay for my calender when i'm back in 7.5 weeks - save messing with postage. pete.
